My Machiavelli Test

http://www.salon.com/books/it/1999/09/13/machtest/index.html

Take the test above, see how Machiavelli are you.

Personally, my score is:

Your Machiavelli score is: 90

"High Mach", You endorse Machiavelli's opinions.

Most ppl fall somewhere in the middle, but there is a significant minority at either extreme.

This test means that I'm charming, confident and glib, but also arrogant, calculating and cynical, prone to manipulate and exploit. (Think Rupert Murdoch, or if your politics permit it, President Clinton.)

Doesn't come as a surprise to me, except for the last bit.

Taylor's Asaban Festival

As the opening post, I'll write about a recent event on the 26th- Taylor's Asaban Festival. Asaban is actually a combination of two japanese words: Asa(Day) and Ban(Night). Needless to say, its an entire day and night festival for Otakus and the works.

Why write about this?

Because it was AWESOME!
Not to mention it was my anime club of about 15 ppl that helped organized it...

I'll stop the writing now and just let the pictures do the talking.

Me, Cosplaying as Vizard Ichigo
Yes, I cosplayed for the first time that day.

Another Pose for the camera.

I didn't really get that many photos during the "Asa" part of the festival. It's hard to hold a sword and a camera while taking pictures with a small field of vision.

Moving on to the "Ban" part.

Me with one of the ECA advisers in festival Yukata.

3 ppl trying to tie one knot for the yukata.
Too many chefs spoil the broth?

Jun & Kay. With Jun very comfortably wearing female clothes...
Getting in touch with his feminine side, methinks...

*Picture removed at request of person*

Wee Liang Mei- Cosplay and Yaoi Picture Enthusiast.
The drill sergeant behind the succesful cosplay cafe.

*Picture also removed at request of person*

"Mofu-Tofu" Kay - The lead artist behind all the flyers, banners, etc, etc.
She has goddess-like artist talents.

The ppl behind the event; enjoying the fruits of their 6 month labour.

Daniel Ting - The OC of the event
I have no idea why he has that perpetually surprised look.

Yun- The emcee in Yukata for the entire event
She finally managed to sit down and get a drink.

Me & Nicholas (Nikku)- Ketua buruh paksa on that night.

Overall, it was a pretty hectic raya week for us. We were so glad that the event was a success that we almost forgot one last bit: Packing up.

I won't bore you with the details of us packing up so I'll leave it at that.

However,

Last but not least...

"Work Faster Lah!!"

Evidence of Yun curi tulang during packing up time.
Sorry Yun, couldn't resist;-p.

I'll probably update this post or write a second part.
